Whether it's at a beautiful outdoor location or in the comfort of your own home, we'll make sure each of your immediate family members get in on the fun. Your life is a story and photos are the one thing that you'll have to be able to look back at for this chapter in your life. Little ones seemingly change overnight.

As part of your service, I help with a wardrobe consultation and if you choose to get a classic family or newborn session it also includes a style guide. I’m always available to help you pick out the best combination for your family.
What should we wear?
I will be in touch with you on the day of your shoot and I try to decide about 2 hours before the shoot is scheduled if the weather looks bad. Depending on my schedule, I try to do my best to fit you in within one week of your original shoot date. Often this means that a reshoot happens during the week instead of on a weekend. I ask for your understanding in these cases.
What if it rains?
Within a few days of the shoot, I’ll be putting out a sneak peek online. From there you’ll get your photos within 4 weeks after the shoot date. Should you need them earlier (for a newborn announcement or something similar) please let me know and I will try to accommodate you, but I can’t guarantee it.
When will I see my photos?
I typically book one to three months in advance although this increases during the fall. This is by far the busiest time of year so if you are looking for a particular date, please let me know in advance. If you are interested in newborn portraits, it is best to inquire while you are pregnant. Baby is here? I got you. I try to be as flexible as possible for last minute newborn sessions.

Each session last up to 60 minutes, typically scheduled around sunrise or sunset in the beautiful Chicago area.
You'll receive a style guide and wardrobe consultation, as well as 30 hand-edited, high-resolution images in a private gallery. These images consist of a curated gallery mix of loving candids and classic portraits.
